Second-Hand Books and Music
Mogul Diamonds opened in 1998 in Albrighton, a large village in Shropshire just west of Wolverhampton. It carries a large stock of second-hand sheet music, over 600 miniature scores, popular songs of the 1920s-1960s and books about music and musicians. We also house a general book stock encompassing poetry, literary biography, military topics, natural history, popular science, art and many more subjects.
We are always keen to buy music collections, especially relating to British Music.
The popular songs are not listed, but wants lists are welcome. All other sheet music is catalogued and may be viewed from the "Catalogues" page - link below. Music lists can also be sent as e-mail attachments or as print-outs.
In the shop is an electronic, two manual, full pedalboard church organ, which customers are welcome to use.
Browsers are welcome. There is usually parking available outside the shop. Albrighton is off the A41 half a mile south of Junction 3 on the M54. It has a railway station on the Wolverhampton-Wellington-Shrewsbury line, and has hourly buses (892 from Wolverhampton to Wellington/Telford).
Albrighton is also the home of David Austin Roses and the Cosford Air Museum, and is close to Boscobel House. Next door to the shop is an excellent restaurant.
